1964 Letter To Her Parents [SOLD]

Rue was an excellent letter writer. In this missive from 1964 she brings her parents up to date on her life. She writes about the current play she is appearing in and three movies projects she is involved with. There is family details about her son, third husband, and dog, and information about what the relatives visiting from Oklahoma can expect to find in the Greenwich Village of the 1960’s: “Tell Emma B. to bring her smelling salts and her camera.” Consists of 3 sheets of 7 3/8” x 5 1/4” paper with writing on both sides and is in the original envelope. The letter is signed “Love – Rue.”
