At the peak of her “Golden Girls” celebrity, Rue could command $250,000 to appear at a photo shoot for a day and endorse a product; can you imagine? Naturally, being Rue the clothes horse, she’d also build into her contract that she got to keep the rags. We found this ’80s pink t-shirt with some “punk rock” design on the front buried in her closet and then, miraculously, found this laminated, free-standing, board from the ad campaign in the back of another closet. The shirt is about 25 years old and has some wear and pilling, but the ad board is in great shape. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.
