Rue's "Magnolia" Tunic
Here is another piece Rue owned that was made by her dear friend Grace Martin. Rue had to alter the piece slightly by sewing the center, cleavage-closing fabric into the bodice after a wardrobe malfunction left her…ahem….exposed. The silk is gorgeous. The piece is kind of a one-size-fits-all tunic and there is a label sewn in that reads: “It’s A Magnolia by Grace Martin.” Rue’s print silk tunic comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.

Five Original Polaroids from Publicity Shoot [SOLD]
Before the days of digital photography and access to an instant image on a camera’s display screen, professional photographers couldn’t see what they shot until the film was developed. God forbid if the film came back and nothing was usable and the whole thing had to be re-shot! So, pros would shoot set-up images using a Polaroid Camera. Everyone would gather around the Polaroids, pass them around, and blah, blah, blah about styling, lighting, hair, makeup, etc… “Shoot some Polaroids” was a phrase heard on every professional set in the world, although I don’t think it happens so much anymore, and less and less with each passing day. Sadly, the vast majority of those one-of-a-kind Polaroid images from countless photo shoots over the decades hit the trashcan – people usually didn’t think of them as anything important or savable at the time. However, our girl Rue ALWAYS tried to snag the Polaroids from her photo shoots. Here is a wonderful set of five from some big budget shoot in the late ’80s or early ’90s. These 25-year old pictures are still in excellent shape and would be perfect for framing. Each one measures 3.25″ x 4.25″, and all five will appear on one Certificate of Authenticity.

Rue's Amethyst and Crystal Necklace
Rue’s amethyst and bead necklace has a very substantial, expensive feeling to it. Although it is not marked, we suspect it was made by that jewelry designer Rue adored, the one whose name we do not know, but we find her initials – “A.R.” – all over pieces in Rue’s jewelry collection. This necklace has 16 diamond faceted rocks of amethyst that measure almost a half an inch across each, and the 32 smaller diamond shaped stones that bookend the larger ones may be amethyst too! The whole necklace is 32-inches long and it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.

Rue Made Dangling Frog Earrings
Rue made this pair of dangling frog earrings way back in the 1990s. The frogs are a half inch across and the whole earring dangles down 2.5″. Rue really did have a thing for frogs, they were all over her house in one form or another, as you can see from the photo posted which shows some of her other frogs. Rue’s frog earrings come with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.
