As we’ve mentioned before, whenever Rue travelled she liked to hit the local antique stores and see what she could find. The doormen at her Manhattan apartment said that packages arrived every day. As a result, Rue has an extensive collection of vintage, fine porcelain pieces. Here is a set of old, delicate Austrian snack dishes she picked up on a trip to Europe. The final picture is from the inventory taken right after Rue’s death and those are her ashes wrapped in the feathered boa on the right side of the frame watching over all. The dishes measure 5″ across and come with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.
