Over the years, Rue amassed a large collection of Depression Era glassware. She adored the bright colors and its durability, which was important to her because – unlike many collectors – Rue believed in using her pieces. At her place, it wasn’t uncommon to be handed your soda in a ruby red, depression era, cut glass goblet. This particular iridescent marigold footed-bowl made frequent appearances around her kitchen and dining area, holding everything from dried goji berries to little treats for her cat Kate. It measures 2 1/2” high and 6” wide and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from The Estate of Rue McClanahan.
