As you can see in the photo posted, Rue had several built in shelves next to the Jacuzzi Tub in her master bathroom – by the way, I moved into Rue’s apartment after she passed and I did use that tub once, it was wonderful, but I am more of a shower guy and what you can’t see in the photo is that Rue also had a glass enclosed marble shower big enough to hold a party in on the other side of that part of her bathroom; that room was HUGE, there were three closets in her bathroom! But, I digress. Here we have several items Rue kept next to her tub. There are a couple of bath oils and all those gold bath nuggets in the chalice, a porcelain dish with the loofah, a nail brush/pumice stone combo, and an almost full bottle of Christian Dior’s “Miss Dior Chérie Eau De Parfum” – fancy! As you can see from the picture of the glass shelves, Rue kept some pricey treasures next to her tub. The edge of the chalice filled with bath nuggets caught my eye at the bottom of that picture and so I dumped out the nuggets and, sure enough, it is a fabulous vintage, etched pressed glass and gold trimmed piece. It is old, but still in excellent condition. And why wouldn’t Rue keep her bath nuggets in a treasure? It makes sense to me. This lot includes all the items shown in the first picture – the nuggets are back in the chalice where they belong – and everything appears on one Certificate of Authenticity.
