Oct 18th – Mexican Alpaca Onyx Plaque Bracelet (Price Dropped Nine Times) [SOLD]

The most expensive and the least expensive bracelets sold over the last 24-hours; anything is possible with Rue’s Bracelet Affair. We’re going to start out on the low side for this unique piece and we’ll see how long it lasts. This is Rue’s Mexican alpaca onyx plaque bracelet, one of those unusual pieces that she favored. We all called it the “ball bracelet” because in between the panels with the round onyx stones were panels with piles of little silver balls. There are eight links total – four of the bezel set onyx and four of the ball piles – and the whole bracelet is 7.5″ long. There are some minor dents in the balls here and there – Rue was rough on her jewelry because she was always doing something, regardless of whether she was decked out in jewels and heels or in jeans and a sweatshirt – but otherwise the piece looks great. Here is another interesting fact about this piece, whoever made it misspelled alpaca – there is an extra letter in there. Rue loved flaws like that because it showed a certain humanness about the creator. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
