Five pieces after this one in Rue’s Bracelet Bedlam – it is a crazy making balance between resisting the buy until the price goes down without waiting too long so that you end up with nothing. Here is an interesting, one-of-a-kind abstract piece from the 1970s. This mixed metal cuff is made of brass, copper, bronze and silver and it is as heavy and solid as you’d expect. It is 1.38″ at its thickest and then goes down to about .75″. This “Hippie Bracelet” is definitely handmade and it is the real thing, from Rue’s early days in California when she was surrounded by the diehard hippies. Rue wasn’t into drugs at all though and always kept her focus on what she she needed to do in order to reach her goals. However, just because she didn’t necessarily adopt their going nowhere lifestyle didn’t mean she couldn’t appreciate and buy their jewelry. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.
