Blanche's Taupe Leather Mules [SOLD]
Can’t you just hear Blanche click-clacking across the kitchen floor? Rue wore these taupe leather strap mules during multiple seasons of “The Golden Girls,” and you can spot them in multiple episodes within those seasons. They are made by a company called “Onex” and we think they are about a size 8, since that was what she usually took in a mule. Since these were such favorites, they are definitely a little scuffed up, and the insoles have clear wear from Rue’s heels and toes. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.

Rue's Juicer [On Hold]
Rue owned four juicers – the girl liked fresh juice! She was always blending up something with fresh ingredients and droplets of this or that homeopathic something or another – potions, really. However, she did NOT like the cleanup involved with the other three juicers she owned. Of all of them, this was the most user friendly. You literally snap up the little silver lip that the fresh juice pours out of and the entire thing comes apart. All the pieces are dishwasher safe, too. Rue’s SMART juicer comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.

Rue's Suggestive Thumbtack Holder [On Hold]
First of all, only Rue McClanahan would keep her thumbtacks in such a beautiful wooden box. Second, only Rue McClanahan would own a thumbtack holder that could be called “suggestive.” Keep in mind, Rue was never overtly sexual or in any way crass or vulgar – Betty White, on the other hand… but that is another story. Anyway, Rue kept this box of thumbtacks in her office – she was always pinning something or another up on the bulletin board behind her desk – and whenever she would ask for someone to hand her a thumbtack and let them know they were in the box, as soon as they would pull the drawer open she would casually remark: “Isn’t that an interesting box? It always reminds me of something, but for the life of me I don’t know what.” It never failed to make us all roar with laughter. Yes, we all are 12-year olds at heart! Rue’s suggestive thumbtack box comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.

Rue's Flying Pig Bar Soap Holder [On Hold]
Rue loved pigs. Thus, it makes sense that she would have a flying pig as her bar soap holder. We actually don’t think this piece was made for that purpose because the base is made of a light wood and has NOT done well getting wet every single day (you can see it is kind of lumpy now). However, a soap holder is what Rue used the piece for; it sat next to her kitchen sink offering up various bars of scented soaps to those who wanted to wash their hands for many, many years. Rue’s flying pig stands 7″ tall and it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.

Rue's Certificate of Appreciation From The Police [On Hold]
Rue McClanahan LOVED police officers in uniform (and out of uniform!), and the feeling was mutual. The Police Benevolent Association presented Rue with this framed Certificate of Appreciation back in 1997 when she first moved back to New York. The piece measures 14.25″ x 11.75″. Rue’s framed Certificate of Appreciation comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.

Rue's Hat From Bay Street Theatre [On Hold]
In 1998, Rue went to Sag Harbor and did a show at the Bay Street Theatre. It was entitled “House,” directed by Joe Mantello, and co-starred Richard Dreyfuss and Marsha Mason. Rue was given this hat by the Theatre manager and she wore it for years after. In fact, she wore it to an anti-veal event and attached the pin you see in the photos. This is a nice hat with solid construction and even a leather strap. Rue’s Bay Street Theatre cap comes with her anti-veal pin still attached and a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.
