Rue was a professional from the very beginning and so she incorporated herself as soon as she started making a regular paycheck with “Maude.” Her corporation was called “RMCC” – can you figure out what that stood for? – and it remained in existence for over 30-years. One of the perks of being a corporate entity as opposed to a flaky actress was that Rue was able to create a pension savings plan for herself. This item is the check register for her pension plan for a period of time in 1992, during her work on “The Golden Girls.” We found a few deposit slips which we will include and – HERE IS THE BIG ITEM – an original signed check from the account! There are also a couple of voided checks inside. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue and 8″ x 10″ head shots from both the “Maude” years, when she opened the corporation, and “The Golden Girls” when she was using this particular account.
