This simple, wooden bead, “The Sak” purse was Rue’s absolutely favorite day-to-day bag. In fact, in the first picture, you can see her carrying it the very last night she went out in public before going into the hospital for the angiogram – it was the last purse she carried in her life. It remained with her through her hospitalization and rehabs, came home with her when she was discharged, and her wallet, cash and ID’s remained inside until she passed. She used the purse all the time, for years, and it was the purse she kept by the front door of her apartment to grab on the way out. Comes with prints of the pictures shown and a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.
