Featured ItemsCheap Plastic Heart from a 1985 Hallmark Valentine's Day Card (With a Surprise!) [SOLD]
Rue hung onto this cheap plastic heart for over 25 years! It came inside of a Hallmark Valentine’s Day card and survived in her jewelry box from 1985 until her death in 2010. Here is the surprise. We were looking through old pictures and found a shot of her from Valentine’s Day in 1985 and look what is stuck on her sleeve. Can you believe it? We actually have a photograph of her wearing this thing! We’ll send this item with a 4″ x 6″ print of the picture and a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue. This has to be the deal of the century!
$14.14Rue's Etched Sterling Silver Ear Cuff (Not a Nose Ring, Right?) [On Hold]
This can’t be a nose ring, right? I mean, none of us ever saw Rue wear a nose ring, so it must be an ear cuff, right? Yet, it sure does LOOK like a nose ring, right? But why on Earth would Rue McClanahan own a nose ring? Unless she bought it by mistake; sometimes even world class shoppers stumble. Not that anything is WRONG with nose rings; they just aren’t Rue’s style. Anyway, this beautiful sterling silver piece is hand etched with what Rue would call a “sweet” and “precious” little floral motif. If you purchase this item be sure and send us in a photo if you happen to wear it in your nose so we can put it in Rue’s permanent archive, because this would certainly be the only nose ring she owned (but it CAN’T be a nose ring, right?). Rue’s etched, sterling silver thing comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.
$175 NOW $87.50Rue's Fabulous St. John Outfit from "Law & Order" [SOLD]
I was with Rue the day the wardrobe mistress from “Law & Order” took her shopping, and this outfit cost over $4,000! Can you imagine? Anyway, as per her contract, Rue always got to keep her costumes, and since she was playing a wealthy Park Avenue widow – who supposedly had an illegitimate son with President Kennedy – Rue steered the wardrobe mistress to the St. John Flagship Store on Fifth Avenue (she knew she wanted something she would wear again – smart Rue!). Here it is, four fabulous pieces. The pants and jacket are both size 14, the top is “L” and the studded, rhinestoned encrusted tie is 5.5″ long. Immediately after filming the episode, Rue wore the jacket and tie to the “Sordid Lives” release party – those pictures are of her with her co-stars and the series/movie creator. We realize that this is a pricier item on the site, but the reality is – even if it weren’t owned by Rue McClanahan – this outfit is a STEAL at twice the price!
$750 NOW $375Rue's Amazing Work-Of-Art Necklace [On Hold]
This necklace is nothing short of a work-of-art! The piece was custom made for Rue by a Florida designer who made Rue’s jewelry for the series “Safe Harbor.” The necklace has many different beads, balls, crystals, turquoise pieces, and metal thingamabobs. Rue’s work-of-art necklace measures 26″ long and it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.
$375 NOW $187.50Rue's Nuts and Beads Necklace [On Hold]
What a bizarre necklace, right? The bead part makes sense, but the nuts? We can just imagine Rue’s delight when she discovered the piece, too; Rue adored the unusual. This strand of 1.5mm beads and 5mm nuts is 32″ long and it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.
$225 NOW $112.50Heart Locket on Sterling Chain [SOLD]
Although there are no pictures inside this 3/4″ heart-shaped locket, we think it may be the one Rue wore in the movie “Rusty: The Great Rescue,” a film she made back in 1997 with Hal Holbrook. The chain is sterling silver and 18″ long and it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.
