The frame and matting are beautiful, but the framing job is not so great. First, she ripped the photo a tiny bit at the top, and second, just look at the back of the frame! Obviously, she preferred this portrait to whatever was originally in the frame, and so she just ripped whatever was there out and put this photograph in. Anyway, she made her living as an actress, not as a framer. The picture is special though because it is all four of “The Girls” with senior crew members on the set of “The Golden Girls.” This is Rue’s original of the photograph and she kept it framed (hmmmm…) and hanging up in her Manhattan apartment. The frame measures 14″ x 15.75″ and the photo is an 8″ x 10″. The costume designer from “The Golden Girls,” Judy Evans, sent us an email identify the crew members in the picture. Comes with a copy of that email so you’ll know who is who, and a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.
