Can you believe there actually used to be photo booths that not only took your photo, but framed it? Rue and her best friend Norman posed with a mystery man in one of these machines back in the early 1950s and here is the result. This is a RARE piece of Rue McClanahan memorabilia – because it was the only “Photomatic” picture she owned – as well as a rare piece of Americana. Rue and Norm ended up in a marriage – her second of six and his first and only – but once that was over they went back to being best friends, a relationship that continued for the rest of his life. Norman was also the favorite stepfather and lifelong friend to Rue’s son, Mark. This piece measures 2.5″ x 3″ and it comes with prints of the photos of Rue and Norm together later in life, and a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.
