Rue knew Gregory Harrison from way back in the “Trapper John, M.D.” days (remember that excellent show?), and they worked together several times on both theatrical and television projects. She was thrilled when she got the call to do a series entitled “Safe Harbor” with Mr. Harrison for The WB Network down in Florida (picture of the hotel they worked at, which we hear later burned down). This is her cast and crew shirt. It has a label which reads: Basics M, it is 100% cotton and was made in the Sultanate of Oman. Rue wore it often and there are a couple of spots on it. We were going to throw it in the wash, but the “professionals” tell us you aren’t supposed to wash celebrities things, that the “scent of the star” increases the value. Okey dokey, well, once you get your money’s worth smelling it, we suggest you toss it in the laundry.
