Featured ItemsRue's Black And Gold Caftan
Oh, please don’t think that Rue McClanahan suffered from dandruff when you look at the shoulders of her black caftan, because it is absolutely not true, those white specks are actually plaster dust. You see, since we had already rented the space for Rue’s café, and since they hadn’t started on construction yet, we decided to use the space for this quarter’s photo shoots. Well, Julio, Rue’s handyman, was doing some core samples under the existing drywall in the space to see what was underneath – by the way, he found MARBLE SLABS(!) – anyway, when he dug into the plasterboard, a cloud of plaster dust settled on everything. Rue’s black and gold caftan was made by “Santé Classics,” it is a size “L,” it will be dusted before we send it to you, and it will come with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.

$150Rue's Signed and Framed Marquee Poster From "Picnic"
Rue and Gregory Harrison did it all together; meaning they did television, film and the stage. As for anything else….who’s to say except Mr. Harrison? Although have a look at his note to Rue…hmmmm…. No doubt about it, Gregory Harrison was and is S-E-X-Y! Anyway, they did a stage production and movie version of the show “Picnic” back in the ’80s, and this is a signed marquee poster from the production that was presented to Rue by the cast. The female lead of this production was none other than Jennifer Jason Leigh; she’s having a career resurgence right now, right? This 22″ x 14″ poster has been matted and set in a 25.25″ x 17.25″ frame. There appears to be some water damage to the top of the gold mat, but otherwise it seems to be in good condition. Rue’s signed and framed poster from “Picnic” comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.
$375 NOW $187.50"The Golden Girls" Cast & Crew Gift for 1987 [SOLD]
This cast & crew gift from “The Girls” to all those that helped them make the show happen is over 25-years old. Items like this cause us such difficulty with pricing. On the one hand, it is Rue McClanahan’s ONLY saved cast & crew gift from the 1987 Season of “The Golden Girls,” and how do you put a price on that? There is only one of these in the world – that belonged to Rue – and once it is gone, it is gone forever. On the other hand, it is just an old brass key chain and those are a dime-a-dozen. So, we spin the wheel in our heads and pick a number. We are either deluded in thinking this thing is worth this much money, or we are the biggest fools on Earth since it will sell for a zillion dollars someday at some big auction house. Please help and guide us Rue! This item measures 3.75″ long by 1.5″ wide – it is big! Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.
$800Rue's Dream Catcher
As many of you already know, Rue McClanahan had some American Indian blood in her veins; Rue was a proud, card-carrying member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. It should comes as no surprise then that she had a dream catcher in her Manhattan apartment. Legend has it that this device catches all the negative or toxic dreams while you sleep, much like a spider’s web catches all that tries to pass through it, and then in the morning they disappear. This leaves only positive and good dreams to fill your nights. Of course, Rue really didn’t need a dream catcher since all she ever seemed to dream about was MEN! Rue’s dream catcher measures 7.5″ wide and is 1.25″ thick. We think Rue actually sewed the red fabric on the back of this handmade work of art, probably to make the beads and web stand out more. Rue’s dream catcher comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.
$275Rue's Glass Clock
This glass clock was made by the “Nautica” company and so we think it is supposed to resemble a sail, and it does. Rue’s glass clock needs a new battery. It measures 5.75″ high, 3.75″ wide, and 1.75″ deep. Rue’s glass clock comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Estate of Rue.
